What is Panchakarma?

The ultimate detoxifying program for rejuvenation, cleansing, and anti-aging. In our fast-paced world, the big reasons we lose balance are an overworked physical body, adrenal fatigue, and emotional blocks causing anger, upset or mental exhaustion with unresolved old memories, and/or worrying.

Learn how to manage seasonal change.

Panchakarma can help with the following symptoms: fat accumulation, restlessness, lymphatic congestion, poor digestion, sluggishness, heavy energy, gas, constipation, bloating, insomnia, anxiety, fatigue, and fear.

Balance and reset

Panchakarma is designed to manage the entire system from digestion, taste, elimination process to metabolism while balancing the mind set, lifestyle habits, emotional triggers, understanding the time of life and how major events in life can create imbalances.

Panchakarma teaches to balance the vital energies, doshas, the chakra system with all the subtle energetic channels and emotionally release old patterns and thoughts that don’t serve.

The Detoxification Process

The practitioner decides the panchakarma protocol either to

  • replenish nutrients or
  • reduce toxins based on the constitution imbalance

If the person needs to improve the nutrition levels of the body or build the body tissues through nourishment, the process is called brimhana. Should the person require cleansing their system, assistance in removing toxins (ama) or feeling of heaviness, that process of langhana with two parts to lighten the body: pacification (shodhana) and purification(shamana) are used.

Panchakarma – The detoxification process is recommended twice a year, in the spring and fall, to maintain the bodily systems through a detoxification process just as maintaining a garden seasonally or tuning up a car periodically. This process is customized for the individual person with significant transformational benefits. The body needs attention as seasons change.
